The duality of these pieces speak to my Fire & Water series. I am using these elements as a catalyst in the aging process of the mulberry fiber. I am intrigued at how historically we tend to always lean toward either fire or water during our rituals and celebrations - Relying on nature to bring spirit into the moment.

Fire 〰️This specific piece is made with mulberry fiber, soil and pigment. The texture is created through an aging process using fire and water.
